Tiffany Shepis Will Soon Need a Prenup

Further proof that there is no god. According to his website, Corey "I'll do anything for a dollar" Haim is engaged to scream queen Tiffany Shepis. My barf runneth over.

'Demons' Remake Looking Good

I just left a night shoot of the "Night of the Demons" remake. Which just happened to be two blocks from my house. Will wonders never cease?

Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson came over to talk. Which was VERY gracious of them, as they were definitely busy. They are the co-writers of the new version of the film, and Adam is directing. I was already intrigued by this film, not sure if that has anything to do with Diora Baird, but it probably does. Now I hope the film does really well, as Adam and Jace are two great people.

Hurricane Gustav. Run away! Run away!

Well, this weekend turned out to be a lot different than last weekend. Like others who lived in New Orleans through Katrina, when a mandatory evacution was called for Hurricane Gustav - I hit the road! After 19 hours on the road, I reached safe haven in the Applachian Mountains. The first 6 hours were spent in traffic on I-10 East - all in New Orleans. It was crazy, but it was good to see so many people heeded warnings.

'Flu Bird' Saturday

Returning from having a few pints at the pub, I decided it was time to crack a few more and check out what new "beast vs. mankind" flick the SciFi Channel cooked up. And I was rewarded with, "Flu Bird Horror." Which I think should be retitled, "Flu Pterodactyl Horror," as these beasties looked nothing like birds. Even though the parks ranger guy said that they were obviously some form of condor. When did condors grow bat wings?

What's Going On Around Here?

I was relaxing with a pint in my local pub, when a guy came up to me and gave me the old "Dude, what's going on with your website?" Which got me thinking that other folks familiar with the site might be having the same type of question. So, I'm going to write what I consider to be an update for past regulars and an introduction for new ones.

Lost Boys: The Trash

Does anybody really give a shit about the "Lost Boys" sequel? Seriously, where did this thing come from? You don't hear anything about the movie for twenty years. Then there's a "reality" show about the two Coreys and all of a sudden - there's a direct to video release of "Lost Boys:The Tribe." Which amazingly sounds like a nod to another "reality" show. Ugh.
