What's Going On Around Here?

I was relaxing with a pint in my local pub, when a guy came up to me and gave me the old "Dude, what's going on with your website?" Which got me thinking that other folks familiar with the site might be having the same type of question. So, I'm going to write what I consider to be an update for past regulars and an introduction for new ones.

As some will remember, I started out writing b-movie reviews and posting them on a website hosted free by GeoCities titled "B-Movie Bonanza." As I made acquaintances in the industry, I was provided with information to post news and upcoming features sections. And, not being one to slight the ladies, I thought no real b-movie sight could stand up without a section devoted to scream queens, so the B-Movie Babe of the Week was born. Now outgrowing "free" hosting size, I changed hosting providers and morphed into Sandman Cinema.

This new incarnation is being created on a Drupal platform. Which is why some of the familiar sections are missing. I've found that I'm going to have to get seriously creative with the Content Construction Kit or write a module or two. It will probably be a combination of both. I'll post progress notes in the News section under a website category.

News and information on upcoming b-movies will be posted on a regular basis. After creating the proper elements for Drupal, ALL the other sections of Sandman Cinema will return. Reviews will be posted by myself and Cthulhu. LoZone is no longer interesting in participating. Scream Queens will have a section all there own - Sandman Cinema Sirens. And a forum community for b-movie discussions will wrap it up.
