Exclusive Casting Announcement for Live in Fear

Brandon Scullion’s so-cool-it’s-frozen horror feature Live in Fear announces the casting of one of its pivotal supporting roles!

Charlene Geisler was only six years old when she became a working actress, and as her latest creative victory – being cast as the enigmatic Young Girl in LIVE IN FEAR – has shown, she has no intentions of ever stopping working. Active on stage and on screen as well as in web-series, voice-over and commercials, Geisler recently also obtained international representation through a prominent German agency.

Geisler is at home in horror and is starting to make a name for herself because of her on-screen intensity. It’s therefore no wonder she won the role of the maliciously creepy elder daughter in the horrifying short film The Gift, where she was daughter to Maria Olsen, who, as MOnsterworks66, is co-producing Live in Fear. Olsen is best known for her role as the horrifying Fury in Chris Columbus’ fantasy-adventure epic Percy Jackson & The Olympians: The Lightning Thief, and has also racked up numerous horror credits including Paranormal Activity 3.

Geisler’s further credits on the silver screen include The Hangover, Bobby Fischer Live and the award winning Brando Unauthorized, while, on television, she has been seen in FlashForward and NCIS. On stage, her most compelling role so far came at age eight when she played Betty Parish in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. Geisler also recently wrapped shooting on a Comedy Central pilot, and co-starred in the web-series Starf*ckers with Lost’s Neil Hopkins.

Not one to put all her eggs in one basket, Geisler is also putting down roots in the producing field, and she has taken on the job of being one of Live in Fear’s Associate Producers. She also recently made it onto the IMDB list of “2012 Upcoming Rising Child Stars”.

Live in Fear – a deliciously creepy tale where dismemberment, self-mutilation, demon worship and matricide are all on the menu – will be yet another credit to Geisler’s growing name.
